Who we are:

Founded in 2007 at Aveiro (Portugal) under the brand name of Iberbooking by Ana Tavares (with more then 20 years of experience in the Tourism Industry), the Company re-branded its name as Portugal Private Touring back in 2011, after rapidly evolving from a local tour seller to a small tour organizer Company, expanding its boundaries to Galicia, Spain.

Our philosophy:

Portugal Private Touring is dedicated to provide a sustainable form of tourism as we believe helping the local communities should be a priority to preserve the local culture and traditions of each region where we organize our tours.

By taking our guests to unique and unkown places to visit - behind the massive tourism routes - we provide them the joy of making part of a local community, being treated and pampered as close friends, instead of just another visitor, contributing to the livelihood of the communities in which they are inserted.

What we do:

Portugal Private Touring offers exclusive authentic experiences which can start with a simple cooking lesson at the private kitchen of a local host... or with a craft class in a local silversmith to learn how to make personal silver jewelery... or even with a private visit to a traditional bakery at the Douro Valley to make a delicious home-made bread baked in a wood oven...

Our experiences include private transportation, private guiding services and skip-the-line access to attractions.
